Holiday club 2026 feedback

33 Fabulous kids, a Fabulous team of 22 volunteers, and Fantastic fun sums up our Holiday Club in Vogrie Country Park at the end of July.

We enjoyed dry weather at our BBQ site where we had daily stories, songs, games, crafts, challenges, phaser fitness and amazing facts, and all on a strong bible based theme.

The trainee astronauts were led by Captain Cosmos (Louise) and Buzz Brain (Robert) who as well as creating a lively atmosphere were also a large part of the creative brains adapting existing Scripture Union material.

We are grateful to our team of volunteers, some of whom give up part of their holidays to take part and the teenagers who come along to add extra energy.

The Sunday Celebration Service in North Middleton Village Hall showed parts of what we did during the week  and the 65 adults and children there were able to enjoy coffee, juice and croissants at the end.

We are also grateful to Tyne Valley Parish Church funding the event, over and above the fees from the families. Thank you also for some very generous donations from members of the congregation.
